I have done that and it hasn’t fixed the problem. Most of the suggestions are to reset preferences to default status. I have done on line searches for a solution including Adobe forums and Lightroom Queen. It’s just Lightroom that has problems and is my most frequently used photo program! It freezes regardless of being in library or develop module. I tried using a USB mouse instead of the Wacom and Lightroom still crashes(“not responding “) and/or freezes. It didn’t help! I have reinstalled the Wacom drivers thinking that it could be the tablet. I have let a new install of Lightroom build a new catalogue by importing my photos. I have tried using a different catalogue from my back up. I have uninstalled and reinstalled Lightroom. I uninstalled both DaVinci and DXO but Lightroom still crashed. Shortly thereafter Lightroom started crashing and freezing. I decided to download DaVinci Resolve Studio trial version and DXO Photolab 5 Elite trial. Everything has been running smoothly and fast with no issues until this past week. I have been very pleased with this build. I use an Intuos Wacom tablet that I have had for about 5 years. Running Lightroom Classic 2022 (latest version through Adobe subscription) as well as Photoshop. New Samsung 1TB 980 pro gen 4 SSD for the boot drive and a 6TB spinning disk data drive. AMD Ryzen 5900x CPU, NVIDIA 3070 GPU, 64g DDR4 RAM, eventually upgraded to Windows 11Pro.
